RATT TO ROCK WEST COAST!

RATT –  This is the “Year of the RATT” and the band is celebrating with a very special WEST COAST RUN of dates. In honor of their Southern California roots the band is embarking on a 4 show mini-tour to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the RATT EP. After 25 years and ump-teen million albums sold, RATT continues to break new ground with their fans.  Last year the band performed over 50 live dates with Poison on a spectacular tour package all over the US and Canada, Released a brand new best of CD and first ever DVD. RHINO STORE "POPS UP" IN LOS ANGELES!

Label Opens Temporary Retail Space For A Month To Celebrate The Holidays

LOS ANGELES -- Rhino Entertainment, the acclaimed pop culture imprint, will open a "pop-up" retail store for one month to celebrate the holiday season. The Rhino pop-up store will open for business on Saturday, December 1, at 8032 W. Third Street in Los Angeles, and will close its doors on Monday, December 31.

Located within walking distance of The Grove retail complex, the Rhino pop-up Store will be open seven days a week from noon to 8 PM. From the shop's grand opening on December 1 to its grand finale 30 days later, the Rhino pop-up store will showcase the quality, value, and serendipitous discovery that has distinguished the label's releases for nearly three decades.

In many ways the store is an extension of the label's direct-to-consumer Web site at www.rhino.com. The Third Street outlet will offer customers a chance to see and feel limited edition boxed sets, silkscreen posters, fine art photographs, and other merchandise in person rather than rely on the thumbnail images and sound samples that are the currency of the digital domain. E-commerce may be convenient, but shopping at a real record store can be fun. Label employees eager to share their passion for music will man the counters. And to suggest that holiday shopping should be more like visiting a traveling circus than a Darwinian battle for gifts, the Rhino pop-up Store will feature artist appearances, live music, one-off events, and cool giveaways. For a full rundown of our pop-up lineup, go to www.rhino.com/popupstore.

"The Rhino pop-up store is a great way for us to connect directly with our consumers and to remind them of all the good reasons to continue to support our local record stores," says Scott Pascucci, president Rhino Entertainment. "For those of us old enough to remember, Rhino started as a record store -- so now we come full circle even if for only one month at the holidays. If you're in the neighborhood, we hope you will stop by."

Seasonal shoppers are no strangers to temporary retail sites -- though in recent years the Christmas tree lots that would appear for a few weeks starting in November have been joined by a number of bigger brands looking to build buzz with a whirlwind appearance in regional markets. Blitzkrieg boutiques have sprung up in major cities around the globe to sell everything from designer clothing and cosmetics to travel packages and pet care products.

HERE WE COME!

Hey there Ratt and Rollers, we are about to embark on our Overseas tour of Japan and Australia!  We are really psyched as we have not been to Japan in a while and we have never been to Australia, ever! So it is very invigorating for us all.  4 shows in Japan and then 2 shows down under.  Should be a great time. So if you are around in that part of the world, come on out!!!!!  We hope to crack out some different tunes, and Warren and I may even take some extended solos!  Who knows??? But it will be fun!  We are also looking forward to touring with Winger as we have never done so before.. We will have more news soon on plans for next summer.  So stay tuned for more!  BLOTZ

September 23, 2007

Live Nation, X-Ray Touring and RATT have announced that they are postponing the European portion of their fall tour. Instead, the band plans to return in June of next year to perform at some of Europe's most popular rock festivals as well as several other key dates in the UK and Scandinavia. RATT MAKES A COMEBACK - ABC NEWS STORY

September 12, 2007

Ratt n' Rollers!!!

We'd like to thank everyone for coming out to the RATT shows this summer. We/RATT had a great time. Wish we could have played the whole catalog and then some. That's for next year!

We'd like to thank our rodent crew, management and the Poison band and crew for Nothin' but a good time. There is an extensive tour of Europe in October and a few shows in Japan in November to finish out the year.
I'm finishing up my 3rd solo CD, Warren and I have written a few songs and have plenty of ideas to start on new Ratt muzik for 2008.  We intend to kick some serious ass as soon as we can get into the studio after the tour. There will be new Ratt n' Roll coming your way real soon!

A special thank you to Evan Knoll, Clay Millican, Dan Pirkowski, and the race team and personal. The Torco Fuels/Skull Gear/RATT Top Fuel dragster will finish out the NHRA season, the band and myself will try and make an appearance at the track if our schedule permits. Please come out to a drag race and support the team!  Ratt n' Roll with Evan Knoll!

Check the Torco Fuels/Skull Gear web sight and NHRA.com for more information on events. There is a lot being talked about for the future with Evan and myself, keep your ears and eyes wide open. You might miss a Ratt at 300 MPH!!!!!

Again Thankx for coming out and we appreciate the past, present, new and abused hard core RATT fans. See ya soon, the party has just begun!

A Big F#*k Yeah! to all the hard core past, present and future RATT fans that have been coming out to the shows on the Poison/RATT "Back for More" Tour.

Pearcy say's, "The crowds coming out are f#*kin crazy! The shows are getting crazier and better. Always a new experience everyday. Warren and I are writing new music every chance we get. Were in EP/Cellar mode right now. Writing on the bus, backstage and the hotel. were coming up with great stuff right now. As soon as we have a few weeks off anywhere stable we'll get in a studio and start laying it down, the new music so to speak."

The band (RATT) will stay out after the Poison/RATT summer tour doing solo dates, then Ratt n' Roll over seas for some shows.

A big Thank You! to Evan Knoll and everyone associated with the team, one class act. And his continued support (sending the jet didn't hurt, lol) and the RATT fans who are coming out to see the car. Always a great time at the races. It's about time Rock (Ratt) n' Roll and Drag Racing take on the world, with Evan Knoll stepping up at this level with the band is an amazing experience. There's a lot of rock fans in drag racing. Evan is one of them.

Stephen Pearcy, John Corabi and some RATT crew made an appearance at the Knoll Gas Motor Sports Park this past Fri to support the Clay Millican driven Torco Racing Fuels/Skull Gear/RATT Top Fuel Dragster.

There's nothings like being on that starting line, right in between two top fuel cars with 8000 horse power a piece splitting your head in two and shaking your body into oblivion. Traveling at over 330 miles an hour in less than 4 1/2 seconds from a standing start is truly an awesome experience. The man himself Evan Knoll (owner of many top fuel cars at the race) took his top fuel car out for the event. The band (RATT) will also be making appearances at many more races. Go to the Skull/Torco RATT sites for info.

The new RATT DVD and CD "Tell the World" Best of... compilations are out and the band is looking forward to keeping the Ratt Attack going. Like Pearcy say's, "Ratt n' Roll is like drag racing. Colorful, fast, dangerous and exciting. It's back to basics, and this is a whole new breed of RATT. It's only going to get meaner, we've already been there done that. Now it's time to finish the job".

Thanks again to ALL The RATT Fans! Ratt n' Roll with Evan Knoll!

After much speculation and anticipation following the airing of their Behind The Music episode on VH1 last spring, multiplatinum hard rock act RATT with vocalist Stephen Pearcy, guitarist Warren DeMartini and drummer Bobby Blotzer will grace the stage together for the first time since 1999. Plans for not only a U.S. summer tour but a full-fledged comeback have just now been announced. As the band prepares to hit the road with Poison.
